Another way of preventing acid reflux cough from getting complicated is by taking all the crucial medications used for controlling this cough. These medicines either have the capacity to absorb the acid or helps counteracting the acid which is backwashed by the stomach.
However, if acid reflux cough gets persitantly bad you would be advised to consult a doctor With the medications you are taking you may need to make changes to your diet. For example you will need to reduce the fat intake or reduce dairy products Also you will have to reduce alcohol comsumption and fizzy drinks will need to be lowered
